We are currently not required to appoint a data protection officer under Art. 37 GDPR and Section 38 BDSG. For any privacy questions, you can reach us at the email address above.

2. Overview

We only process personal data as far as necessary to operate this website and handle your requests. This website uses no analytics or tracking tools, no advertising cookies, and embeds no third-party content such as Google Fonts, YouTube or Google Maps.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. We have a data processing agreement with IONOS pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

When you visit the website, the server automatically stores technical information transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time, page requested, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. This data is required to deliver the website securely and reliably. The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The hosting provider deletes the log files automatically after a short period.

All data is transmitted encrypted via TLS (indicated by “https://” in the address bar).

4. Contact form and email

When you contact us via the contact form, we process the details you provide: first and last name, email address and – optionally – company, company size, phone number and your message. We use this data solely to answer your request and introduce Tecto to you.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract) and your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you can withdraw at any time by email with effect for the future.

To protect against abuse and spam, we also store the IP address and browser identifier (user agent) of the request. This technical data is deleted automatically after 30 days. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure form (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

After you submit the form, we receive an email notification and you receive a confirmation. Emails are sent via IONOS servers in Germany.

We delete your request once it has been fully handled, unless statutory retention obligations apply. If a contract is concluded, the statutory retention periods apply.

The same applies if you email us directly.

5. Fonts

The font used on this website is loaded locally from our own server. No connection is made to servers of Google or any other provider.

6. Cookies

This website does not set any analytics or advertising cookies for visitors. Technically necessary cookies are only set when logging in to the website's admin area (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, Section 25(2) TDDDG).

7. Links to the Tecto app

When you open the Tecto app or its demo via a link, you leave this website. The app's own privacy notice applies to its use.

8. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3)). A simple email to us is sufficient.

Right to object: Where we process data on the basis of legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you may object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW), Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.

9. No automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
